BODYWEIGHT CARDIO + CORE | 15 Minute Quick and Sweaty New Year’s Workout

Don’t say goodbye to 2014 until you’ve gotten in a last sweat session!  This one’s a perfect full body, bodyweight-only workout if you’re running short on time and want to maximize your results.

I like to build my workouts around a theme, and the end of the year lent itself well to that.  We’re ringing out 2014 and ringing in 2015 with 20 reps of a cardio exercise, paired with a 14 second plank and one pushup.

  • 20x Jumping Jacks + :14 Plank + 1 Pushup
  • 20x Washing Machines + :14 Plank + 1 Pushup
  • 20x Mountain Climbers + :14 Plank + 1 Pushup
  • 20x Goofy Jacks + :14 Plank + 1 Pushup
  • 20x Star Jumps + :14 Plank + 1 Pushup
  • 20x Rockettes + :14 Plank + 1 Pushup
  • 20x Ice Skaters + :14 Plank + 1 Pushup
  • 20x Mule Kicks + :14 Plank + 1 Pushup
  • 20x Squat Jumps + :14 Plank + 1 Pushup
  • 20x Plank Jacks + :14 Plank + 1 Pushup

And for the finisher:

  • 20 second Side Plank Hold (Left Side) + 15 Side Plank Jacks
  • 20 second Side Plank Hold (Right Side) + 15 Side Plank Jacks
