Super Simple BODYWEIGHT Circuit

When I’m dreaming up new workouts, I tend to live by the motto, “When in doubt, go bodyweight!”  The fact is, bodyweight exercises are just so dang versatile!  I mean, there’s nothing you can’t do with your own bodyweight – upper body, lower body, abs, core, heart rate training.  It’s all good stuff.

The premise behind this one was so simple that I even included that word in the title.  Seriously, this is as straightforward as a workout gets:  cardio, strength, and core exercises for reps in a circuit style workout.  Boom!  Watch the video below if you’d like to follow along in real time, or feel free to bust it out for yourself wherever you are.  Here’s the breakdown.

Round One:

  • 15 Jumping Jacks
  • 10 Squats
  • 15 Mountain Climbers
  • 10 Pushups
  • 15 Toy Soldiers
  • 10 V-Sits

Round Two

  • 20 Jumping Jacks
  • 15 Squats
  • 20 Mountain Climbers
  • 15 Pushups
  • 20 Toy Soldiers
  • 15 V-Sits

Round Three

  • 25 Jumping Jacks
  • 20 Squats
  • 25 Mountain Climbers
  • 20 Pushups
  • 25 Toy Soldiers
  • 20 V-Sits

Finisher

  • 20 second Front Plank + 15 second Left Side Plank + 20 second Front Plank + 15 second Right Side Plank + 20 second Front Plank
