Five Minutes to FLAT ABS

There’s really something to be said about the power of short workouts, especially ones that are as tough as this!  You would think that five minutes of work would feel easy, but you would be wrong, my friend – I was a lot sweatier at the end of this one than I thought I would be!

I try not to do the same ol’ boring crunches every time I’m training my abs, because… well, because crunches are boring, but also because there are so many other great exercises that will get the work done even better.  I particularly like to target my obliques as well as my abs, to make the whole stomach and core area much stronger.

Five Minutes to FLAT ABS | Surprisingly Intense (but QUICK!) Abdominal Workout

Set your timer for one minute intervals and do each of these exercises for one minute.  There is no rest between exercises.

  • Heel Touches
  • Left Side Plank Scoops
  • Right Side Plank Scoops
  • Plank Cross Body Crunches
  • Mermaid Tails
