UPPER BODY HIIT without Weights

Fair warning:  this workout doesn’t seem like it ought to be all that difficult, but my arms were sweaty, shaky NOODLES when I finished!

I’m always so happy when I put together a short workout that really works.  (Okay, you’ve caught me, I don’t usually preview these workouts before I am performing them on-camera!  Occasionally, I’ll film a workout that I’ve done with a personal training client, or with my boot campers, but probably 95% of the time, I’m doing them for the very first time.)  So imagine my surprise when I was a mere four minutes into this one and my arms were already shaking so hard I was having trouble holding myself in a pushup!  Ha!

UPPER BODY HIIT without Weights | Brutal 10 Minute Floor Workout for Arms, Shoulders, Chest + Back

Set your timer for 15-second intervals.  Do each pair of exercises four times before taking a 15 second rest.

  • Wide Arm Circles (both directions) + High Arm Circles (both directions)
  • Pushups + Low Pushup Hold
  • Elbow Openers (in Superman position) + Elbow Opener Hold
  • Up ‘n Downs (Left) + Up ‘n Downs (Right)
  • Tripod Pushups + Tripod Pushup Hold

Finish this workout with some light stretching for your triceps and shoulders!
