There’s nothing more effective for functional strength and fat loss than pairing a high heart rate exercise (cardio) with some sort of bodyweight strength exercise (in this case, core). These types of workouts challenge your heart and lungs while building muscle endurance and then force your stabilizer muscles to engage at the most difficult time. Combine that with a HIIT (high intensity interval training) protocol and that, my friends, is how we get stronger and leaner with a quick and fun workout!
For this workout, I tried something sort of new for Pahla B Fitness – a “choose your own adventure”-type workout. Meaning, I filmed just one round of this circuit and put a link in the video for you to skip the intro and re-do as many rounds as you want to (or have time for).
