12 Minute BODYWEIGHT Thanksgiving Workout | The TURKEY CHALLENGE

Happy Thanksgiving, Killer Bs!

On this day of gratitude, know that I am thankful for each and every one of you!  I have a job I love, doing what I love, and wonderful, amazing people to share it with.  Life doesn’t get better than this!

In the midst of being thankful for all you have and those that you love, please remember to be thankful for yourself, too.  And give yourself a couple of minutes to do something kind for yourself.  You know, like… sweat.  🙂

This is a super simple and very quick (under 15 minutes) workout that you can squeeze in between the turkey and potatoes.  Yes, it’s one of my “themed” workouts – this one spells out TURKEY CHALLENGE with alphabet-appropriate exercises – I couldn’t resist!  The number of reps we do of each corresponds to the number each letter is in the alphabet.  No equipment needed, and you can feel free to follow along with me in real time by watching the video below.

  • T – Toe Tappers (20x)
  • U – Uppercut Punches (21x)
  • R – Right Leg Drinky Birds (18x)
  • K – Kicks (11x each side)
  • E – Elbow Plank to Pikes (5x)
  • Y – I, Y, W, Parade Rest (25x)
  • C – Curtsy Lunges (3x)
  • H – High Knees (8x)
  • A – Alley Oops (1x)
  • L – Left Leg Drinky Birds (12x)
  • L – Left Leg Drinky Birds (12x)
  • E – Elbow Plank to Pikes (5x)
  • N – Knee Taps (14x)
  • G – Goofy Jacks (7x)
  • E – Elbow Plank to Pikes (5x)

Finisher:  30-second Elbow Plank Hold
