#PahlaBMiniChallenge Week THREE, October 16-20

I’m going to preface the description of Week THREE with a little spoiler alert for Week FOUR.  🙂

I’m putting together these Mini Challenges as an actual training plan – whether you follow them in a linear manner or not – which means that we build up and get tougher, then every few weeks we CUT BACK our training.  Pushing your limits, then resting and making adaptations are critical components of any kind of program that you hope to get results from, and I take them very seriously.

So, about Week THREE.

It is most decidedly NOT a rest week!  But Week FOUR will be, because you’re going to need it.  🙂

If I had to pick a single descriptive word for Week THREE, I think it might be “brutal.”  We’re going hard this week, Killer Bs, so buckle up and enjoy the ride!

MONDAY, we’re kicking things off with an all-new, all sweaty, no jumping 10-20-30 LOW IMPACT CARDIO workout.  If you haven’t tried the 10-20-30 protocol yet, you’re in for a treat with this fast-paced and relentless routine that’s all about ENDURANCE, BODY SHAPING and FAT LOSS.

TUESDAY brings us another all-new INDOOR (or outdoor, if you download the podcast on SoundCloud or iTunes!) WALK + RUN, and this week there’s a fun twist:  it’s STORY TIME!  I’m chatting about how I qualified for the Boston Marathon, but don’t worry, it’s not all about training.  In fact, it’s barely about running and much more about SETTING and then SMASHING your goals, no matter what they are.

WEDNESDAY’s workout is an all-time favorite of mine, a short but oh-so sweaty DUMBBELL TABATA.  Don’t let the 25 minute runtime fool you, this one packs a punch!

On THURSDAY, I’ve put together a tough bodyweight-only stack of #HOT100 workouts that will work us from head to toe with no equipment.  Thankfully, the final video is a luxurious stretch to work out all the kinks and get you ready for Friday.

FRIDAY’s video is an advanced KETTLEBELL HIIT, featuring full body strength and heart-pounding cardio in a compact, 30 minute workout.  If you don’t have a kettlebell, feel free to use a dumbbell instead.  You’ll still get a great burn!
