Hard Work Pays Off | #PahlaBMiniChallenge Week 25, June 25 – 30

Killer Bs, I apologize!  Ordinarily, I have these Mini Challenges up and ready to go first thing Sunday morning, so you can start planning your week (and getting excited about your workouts, obviously).  But this morning I was doing a thing.

Actually, this whole weekend, I was doing a thing.

Davey B Runs the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Race

My husband ran (and finished!) his first 100-mile race, and I was his support crew and (very briefly, just the last three miles) pacer.

I know sometimes we see posts like this of somebody’s epic achievement and think, “I could never do something like that.”  But you know what?  You could.  You CAN.

My husband wasn’t born with a special set of skills that makes him capable of running 100 miles.  In fact, as his mom reminds him at the finish line of most of his long, long races, when he was a kid, he didn’t even like to walk.

But here’s why he’s so successful today:

  • He sets GOALS
  • He makes a PLAN to accomplish those goals

And here’s why I know YOU can be successful:

  • I’m pretty sure it’s your GOAL to be fit and strong and healthy and happy in your beautiful skin
  • Every week, I make you a PLAN

#PahlaBMiniChallenge 2018 June 25 - 29 Week TWENTY-FIVE

On MONDAY, we’re starting the week with some KETTLEBELL CONFIDENCE – a super sweaty (but somehow still beginner-friendly) STACKABLE 20-minute cardio and strength workout.

TUESDAY’S all-new Let’s RUN podcast covers everything you could ever want or need to know about STRENGTHENING YOUR CORE, while we go for a terrific RUN + WALK with 3:1 intervals (which, of course, you can flip and use the other way around).

WEDNESDAY’S workout is all about that AGILITY + BALANCE, a particularly difficult high heart rate/low heart rate combination that really targets your deep core stabilizers (hey, we just talked about that yesterday!)

On THURSDAY, we’re doing some SIMPLE STACKABLE STRENGTH, but don’t let the simplicity fool you – this is a tough little ten minute nugget!

And FRIDAY, we’re finishing off the week with FULL BODY DUMBBELL TONING that’s easy to stack… or not.  This no-repeat routine packs quite a punch, with full body shaping and toning in just 15 minutes.
