If you’ve watched any of my exercise videos pretty much ever, then you know that balance is not exactly my strong suit! Some days are definitely better than others, and I’m still not sure what the magic formula is – maybe some days I’m focused more, is my guess. But based on my wobbliness on-camera, you might be surprised to learn that I work on my balance all. the. time. Like, daily. And I’m way better at it now than I used to be a few years ago (before I started practicing my balance).
A few weeks ago, I got a comment from my girl Lisa M. on one of my videos asking how to learn balance, and I thought that would make a great workout. I know there are plenty of us balance-challenged people out there! So, here it is – Balance 101, where we start from the ground up.
The good news is that if you struggle with your balance, you can improve! Though, I suppose the flip side of that coin is that you might not ever be any better at it than I am. 🙂 This is a “Build Your Own Workout” video, where you can go through the circuit as many times as suits your specific needs. These are exercises that you can work on daily without fear of overtraining. Watch and follow along with the video below, or take this print out with you wherever you go!
