I know I’ve mentioned before that I used to be a preschool teacher. It’s the reason I put out there that I love “thematic” workouts, but you know what? I’ve always loved a good theme. I love it when things go together. I guess that makes me an orderly sort of person, even though you’d never know that from looking at my work desk or my bathroom drawers. 🙂
But this is one of those workouts that just made me so happy inside when I was putting it together. Eight pairs of exercises, eight times in a row, for eight seconds each – what’s not to love? But this workout took me WEEKS to record! It was the strangest thing. I kept putting it off and rearranging the exercises. Honestly, I’m not sure what the problem was, because when I finally filmed it, the workout was awesome! Nice and sweaty, just the right amount of challenging, and definitely not too long!

20 Minute Full Body Fat Burning Workout | Cardio + Core HIIT Full Length Conditioning No Equipment
Set your timer for 8-second intervals. Do each pair of exercises 8x in a row, then rest for 8 seconds before beginning the next pair.
- Fast Feet + Plank Hold
- Mountain Climbers + Left Side Plank Hold
- Washing Machines +Right Side Plank Hold
- Jumping Jacks + Left Drinky Bird Hold
- Star Jumps + Right Drinky Bird Hold
- Mule Kicks + Pike Hold
- Cross Body Crunches + Bridge Hold
- Burpees + Squat Hold
Finisher: Complete all 8 holds in a row
