You know how at the beginning of every month, there’s somebody who’s so surprised that another month has flown by, and they have to comment about how “I can’t believe it’s already October!”
Well, Killer Bs, today I’m gonna be that girl.
Because seriously, I can’t believe it’s October.
Partly because I spent so many months anticipating September with my big race, partly because my oldest son’s 20th (!!!) birthday is next week, and partly because the temperature here in central California was over 95F just a few days ago.
But here we are. Time is marching on, as it does, and tomorrow is the beginning of a glorious new month. What are you going to do with it?
Hint: challenge yourself. 😅

On MONDAY, we’re starting the week with an all-new STRENGTH TRAINING workout that’s a bit of a departure for me: no timer and no counting – we’re lifting by feel. And lemme tell you something: I was feeling it for days afterward! 😅 And while we’re lifting, we’re ruminating on why we lift weights, and how that affects not just the way your body looks, but the things it can do.
TUESDAY’S all-new Let’s RUN podcast is all about WHAT HAPPENS AFTER you lose weight, or run a big race, or climb a mountain, or meet any sort of big goal that you’ve been working toward. We all think everything’s going to be a bed of roses, but the reality is just a bit different. I have some practical advice for how to deal with “the after,” and we’re going on a really lovely 20 minute walk + run while we chat.
WEDNESDAY’S workout is brutal, there’s simply no two ways about it. 10-20-30 CARDIO ABS is non-stop sweat with an emphasis on strengthening your abs and core. Enjoy!
On THURSDAY, we’re picking up (moderately) heavy things and putting them down again with a STACKABLE TONING HIIT that’s paired with a quick CARDIO WEIGHTS routine. These workouts are lots of sweat and lots of fun!
And FRIDAY. Well, on Friday, you’re going to indulge my sentimental side with a little trip down memory lane. This workout is the one that I consider my “first,” even though it was probably the fifth or sixth video I had posted on YouTube. This 20 minute CARDIO TABATA is the first one that got any views 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and is the real reason I’m still here today. I posted it FIVE YEARS ago on October 8, 2013. The videography is bad and my delivery is stilted and awkward, but oh my goodness, the workout is a tough one! Good thing you’re tougher, huh? Happy Sweat-iversary, Killer Bs!
