How? Like this:
👉 We’re moving quickly (high INTENSITY, but low IMPACT – your heart will beat super fast, but your joints won’t have to deal with any jumping), which improves your heart health by training it to handle a rapid heart beat for longer and longer periods of time. That’s cardiovascular endurance.
👉 We’re doing a LOT of repetitions of the exercises using LIGHT DUMBBELLS, which causes your muscles to tap into what’s known as “fast twitch fibers.” Training this way teaches your body how to lift mildly heavy things for longer and longer periods of time. That’s muscle endurance.
👉 Even though you’re not creating BIG muscles, you’re still building and improving your muscle TONE, which changes the shape of your body.
👉 Workouts like this one – moderate duration and sweaty – are PERFECT for losing weight because you can duplicate this level of intensity every day, and CONSISTENCY is the real key to making the scale move!
The timer is set for intervals of 30 seconds, 20 seconds and 10 seconds and NONE of those is for rest! Repeat each set of exercises four times before moving on.
