#PahlaBMiniChallenge 2018 Week TEN, March 5 – 9

One of the hallmarks of a good, balanced workout program (like these Mini Challenges!) that’s designed to help you stay fit, shape up or slim down is the inclusion of workouts that you wouldn’t always choose for yourself.  I think we ALL get into a groove of picking appealing routines, and for you maybe that’s a lot of cardio.  Or maybe it’s a lot of strength work.  Either way, this week will be a challenge for you!

We’ve got some super FUN workouts this week that will stretch your skills and sculpt your body, including a longer-than-usual RUN (we’re doing a 5k!) and some tougher-than-usual WEIGHT TRAINING (we’re gonna get swole!).  And apparently expanding our vocabulary to include the word “swole,” which I promise I will never say again.  Because I’m not really interested in getting swole, but I am all about strengthening your muscles and improving your bone density (one of the main benefits of regular strength training, right after fat loss and body-shaping).

Are you ready?  Because I’m always ready for workouts like these!  Let’s go!

On MONDAY, we’re starting the week with a FULL BODY PLAYLIST, including an all-new CARDIO ARMS + ABS workout and a super fun LOWER BODY HIIT workout from a while back.  You have NO idea how tempted I was to pair it with last week’s Grow Your Glutes workout!!  🔥 🍑 🔥  But, as I often say, I am mean but I am not cruel.  This week’s pairing is a little bit kinder than last week’s.  You’re welcome.  🙂

TUESDAY’S all-new Let’s RUN podcast is absolutely awesome, if I do say so myself.  We’re simulating 5k RACE DAY and aiming for a new PR (personal record, or personal best) time of UNDER 45 minutes!  I’ve got plenty of tips, a killer strategy and some funny stories to keep us running strong the whole way.

WEDNESDAY’S workout is slower-paced, and your muscles and bones will thank you.  This challenging ALL STRENGTH TRAINING workout uses a protocol called one-and-a-halfs.  If you think I’ve counted the “mean way” before, you are going to “love” this one!

On THURSDAY, we’re getting TOTAL BODY TONING with a fun CARDIO emphasis!  This great playlist goes from cardio ARMS to cardio ABS and then cardio LEGS + BUTT – sure to get your heart pumping and some serious calorie burning in just about 40 minutes.

And FRIDAY brings us a real FINISHER of a workout, combining CARDIO + STRENGTH in a tough little HIIT package.  It’s just 25 minutes long, but it packs a lot in!
