2020 Mini Challenge Week 50, December 7 – 13

Happy Sunday, Killer Bs!

Today, we’re going to jump WAY back in time 🕐 and talk about Ed Sullivan. (Yes, I promise this is fitness related, and for you youngsters who don’t know who Ed Sullivan was?  This is why YouTube exists.) 

One of the most popular guests on Ed’s iconic show was a plate spinner 🍽. It was mesmerizing to watch the man as he jumped from one whirling dish to the next, trying his hardest to keep them all in the air at the same time. It was a balancing act of epic proportions.

Have you ever felt like that?  

Running around trying to keep all the “plates” in your life (kids, work, parents, volunteering, exercise, eating healthy, setting goals, sleeping and other important stuff) spinning and not toppling to the ground can get downright overwhelming.

Maybe especially at this time of the year, when we have long to-do lists and full calendars, our fitness “plate” can take a backseat to other commitments. 

Well, here comes the FREE weekly Mini Challenge workout schedule, ready to help you keep your plates spinning with a full week of workouts, planned and ready to go!  No need to overthink, spend time planning, or worry that your exercise routine isn’t moving you in the right direction.

Here’s how the Mini Challenge works:

  • Choose a GOAL – weight loss (for weight loss) or body shaping (for maintaining your weight and improving your fitness)
  • Follow the WORKOUTS for your goal – if you’re losing weight, each day’s effort should feel very moderate and consistent (because weight loss over 50 is driven by eating the right number of calories consistently); if you’re shaping your body, one day will be an intense push, two days will be very relaxed and the rest of the days should feel mild to moderate. Changing your intensity is what changes your body.
  • The BONUS CONTENT is appropriate for either goal.
