Happy almost-August, my friends!
Here’s a couple of questions for you: How willing are you to take RISKS to get where you want to go? And how do you feel about trying new things?
Personally, I’ve always considered myself a pretty “risk averse” kind of person. Until recently (maybe the last two or three years), I was so terrified of failing that it effectively stopped me from doing anything different.
But lately I’ve realized that the only measure of “failure” is what I’m saying to myself. So, if I simply commit to being kind to myself no matter what, then I can never fail.
And suddenly, branching out in new and different ways doesn’t seem so scary anymore!
Are you ready to do something RISKY? (And just to clarify, I’m definitely not talking about physically risky – check with your doctor before starting a new exercise program to be sure about what’s appropriate for YOU.)
