Confession time: I had a much more elaborate and longer workout planned for yesterday when I ended up filming this quick HIIT instead. Sometimes, I just want a super fast and sweaty workout without all the fuss! And this one ended up being perfect. It moves along at a nice pace, there’s nothing especially difficult about it, there’s no equipment needed and it’s over before you know it! That’s the recipe for a perfect workout, as far as I’m concerned. 🙂
This one’s a timer workout, so it’s completely doable for all fitness levels, you just go at your own speed for the timed interval. The bodyweight exercises do include some jumping, though, so you may need to modify them if you aren’t yet capable of high impact work.

Set your timer for 20 second intervals, do each exercise for 20 seconds, then rest for 20 seconds at the end of the round. Repeat 4 times, for a total of 12 minutes.
- Jumping Jacks
- Toy Soldiers
- High Knees
- Fast Feet
- Ice Skaters
- Flying Fast Ups (20 seconds on each side)
Finisher: 20 second Squat Hold
