Simply going through the motions of your exercise routine will only get you lackluster results. But when you combine the incredible power of mindset training with an effective workout, you’ll get everywhere you want to go.

DOES MINDSET TRAINING AFFECT WEIGHT LOSS?

When it comes to weight loss, mindset really does matter. At its simplest, mindset works like this: a negative thought creates negative feelings, which drive negative actions and get you negative results. On the other hand, though, positive thoughts – through that same chain reaction – will get you positive results. 

HOW TO MAKE MINDSET TRAINING PART OF YOUR ROUTINE

But that doesn’t just mean you can or should “think positively all the time” on your way to losing weight! Mindset training takes practice the same way fitness training does, which means that noticing your negative thoughts and intentionally practicing positive ones is something you want to do in small doses, daily. Just like we do in the Five Pounds Down workout videos! With just one helpful thought each day (and about 23 minutes of exercise), you’re on your way to weight loss success.
