Are you READY for this week’s Mini Challenge?
Well, like a grown up version of fitness hide-and-seek: ready or not, here it comes!
Killer Bs, apropos of this intro, I am finding myself completely NOT ready for a fun getaway I’m taking this weekend (I’m typing this on Thursday, just hours before hopping on a plane – by the time you read it Sunday morning, you’ll already have seen pics on my Instagram of all the fun I had!)
Here’s the thing about being ready.
We NEVER are.
I’m not packed and I still need to get a haircut and swing by Ulta for eyebrow gel, even though I’ve been thinking about this trip for months. And even after my last minute running around, I can almost guarantee that I’ll need to find a Target or a grocery store once I’m there.
In my world, there’s no such thing as “totally ready.”
Not for vacations, not for fitness.
But as long as I’ve got the essentials – my phone, slip on shoes, and plane tickets – I can figure out literally everything else on the way.
Maybe you’ve been getting these free weekly Mini Challenges for a while now, but don’t think you’re “ready” to jump in.
You don’t have to be!
Go anyway. Get started. Try it out.
Finding myself in a strange place and needing to buy toiletries isn’t the worst thing that can happen in my life.
And doing a workout (or three) that you don’t feel “ready” for isn’t the worst thing that will happen to you.
Are you ready?
