‘Tis the season, my friend! No matter what you celebrate (or don’t) during these dark, cold months of winter, it’s definitely the season of taking your workouts down a notch.

Sometimes that’s intentional, and sometimes it’s just the way life goes.

But here’s what I want you to know (and it’s NOT “summer bodies are made in the winter,” which is a phrase I truly cannot stand): your body has SEASONS just like Mother Nature.

The reason you feel less motivated in the winter is because your body simply can’t go go go all year long.

This is the season of rest, recovery, and shifting focus. This is a fantastic season to explore different workouts, and let yourself have some fun. This is the season for enjoying your friends, your family, and yes, the food.

Relaxing your grip doesn’t mean you’re letting go. It means you’re taking a breather before you grip tight again in a few weeks.

This week’s Mini Challenge workouts aren’t “easier” than normal, but you can take them at whatever pace feels right for this season.

TUESDAY:  20 Minute LOW IMPACT Cardio HIIT, Burn 200 Calories

WEDNESDAY:  FUN + FUNCTIONAL | 12 Minute STABILITY BALL Strength Workout for a Flat Belly + Strong Core  paired with  SEATED Bodyweight STRENGTH 10 Minute Total Body TONING Workout | HOT 100 Challenge Day 55

THURSDAY:  2000 STEPS with WALK + RUN Intervals | 15 Minute One Mile Indoor WALKING + RUNNING for Weight Loss

FRIDAY:  SEATED SIX PACK 10 Minute ABS + OBLIQUES Strength Workout in a CHAIR | HOT 100 Challenge Day 44  paired with  SEATED Cardio ABS | 10 Minute Stackable HIIT Workout to Tighten Your TUMMY

SATURDAY:  15 Minute RECOVERY Stretch + CORE Strength HIIT Workout for Strong, Toned Abs, Obliques and Glutes

SUNDAY:  Beginner STANDING STRENGTH with DUMBBELLS | Full Length 20 Minute BEGINNER Weight Training Workout
