It builds up your lean muscle tissue (which helps you burn more calories all day long!), it reshapes your body and strengthens your bones, as well as lifting your mood and giving you an unshakable sense of awesomeness. So, truly, there’s no downside to picking up heavy things and putting them back down again.
I hear from women all day long who say they’re just not sure about lifting weights. Maybe they’ll get “bulky” or it’s kind of boring or they simply “don’t like it.” (You can tell how I feel about that statement by the fact that I put it in quotes, LOL! What’s not to like?)
