Sometimes inspiration for workouts comes from the strangest places, and sometimes it’s a little more obvious. The Couch Workout, for instance… well, you can probably imagine it: I was sitting on the couch and didn’t want to get up! Ha!
I really like the simplicity of this workout. It’s a plain ol’ circuit, which you could absolutely adjust for your current level of fitness. To make the workout challenging, I went for five times of the circuit, but you can just as easily do more or less. The moves themselves aren’t complicated, so the intensity of the workout comes from volume.

Do each exercise ten times, and complete the circuit five times.
- Toe Tappers
- Split Squats
- Triceps Dips
Finisher: 25x each side Single Leg Standups
