It’s Day 20 of the WALK Off the Weight for Women over 50 series, and it’s a great day to get STRONG ABS!  While we’re at it, let’s throw in some CARDIO💜 and BALANCE⚖ work, too, just for funsies!

It’s Day 20 of the WALK Off the Weight for Women over 50 series, and it’s a great day to get STRONG ABS!

We’re moving along quickly today through MINI CIRCUITS of three exercises each. And even though it’s a swift🐯 pace, we’re doing each circuit three times in a row so that we can truly master the moves.

STANDING ABS work like this is crucial to healthy aging and working toward our WEIGHT LOSS goal.  After all, we engage our abs every day and in every way!   Workouts like this help us stay functionally fit💪 for whatever comes our way as we chug🚉 along into middle age (and beyond)! 😊

During the workout, I talk about the secret to unlocking🔐 strong abs. And I reveal why grunting – yes, GRUNTING! – while doing exercises like this can actually be a beautiful thing🌈!

Interval timer is set for 20 seconds; complete each mini circuit three times; there is NO REST

Slow Single-Sided Dancing Xs (one interval on each side)

Low Swinging Tappers
Windmill Tap Backs
Flying Fast Ups

Mini Circuit #3
Reach Across

Front Kick Back Kick (one interval on each side)

Mini Circuit #4
Push Push Crunch
Pull Down Oblique Crunches
Drinky Birds (one interval on each side)

FINISHER:
Side Bends (alternating sides, three intervals)
