Simply stated, FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS can be complicated. Joy, frustration, love, anger 😄😒😍😣–the full spectrum of emotions can be experienced at one time or another. And sometimes it feels difficult to process all of these incoming sensations, especially the negative ones, while still staying TRUE TO OURSELVES and maintaining our mental equilibrium ⚖.

Simply stated, FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS can be complicated.  What if I told you that you can improve relationships by embracing one SIMPLE word?

What if I told you that you can improve family relationships in your own life by embracing one SIMPLE word?  That’s right, friends, “simplifying” is the name of the game.🌺

I’m opening today’s podcast by sharing personal stories of my relationship with my sister.💜 I wanted to love her easily; I wanted it to be simple. But it was messy, and it was complicated, and it was frustrating for me at times. It wasn’t until after she died that I came to terms with my feelings and learned to manage my other family relationships in a way that is healthy for me. (NOTE: I’m a rip-the-Band-Aid-off kinda girl. Today’s podcast mentions death and dying, using those words. If this topic or that vernacular is uncomfortable for you, you may want to skip this particular episode.)
